“Barbatelloni”

The “Barbatelloni” (Long rooted cuttings, a type of grafted rootstock) are suitable for vine replacement and characterised by a 70 cm-long rootstock, so they are less subject to the shading of adjoining vines.
They make localised weeding all along the row and other cultivation activities easier.

Potted rooted cuttings

They were trained in a pot for almost a year and so they have already sprouted with a lignified shoot of about 150 cm and a well-developed root system.
Owing to these features, they are suitable for replacing dead plants or eliminating diseased plants as they avoid absorbing nutrients from nearby plants and ensure fast vegetative development and early production.

Potted rooted cuttings

(biodegradable cardboard pots)

They can be planted the same year in which they have been grafted.
They are trained in a substrate of certified peat in biodegradable pots, have a developed and trimmed sprout and are ready for planting.
They are produced upon reservation only and are available from mid-May.

Resistant rooted cuttings

(piwi)

Even though they are more resistant to grape mildew and oidium attacks, they cannot be considered immune to diseases even though the phytosanitary treatment of the vineyard can be significantly reduced promoting more sustainable cultivation.
